Meet Michael Ackerman

Hello! I'm Michael, and I want to thank you for spending a few minutes with me here. I began my real estate career in 1993 with Coldwell Banker Bain in Seattle, and have had the distinct honor of being an instrumental part of my client's life stories during the pivotal purchases and sales of their cherished homes. 

My mission statement has always been simple. Real estate is all about a genuine connection. Your connection to the home, your connection to the process, and your connection with me/us. TeamUp’s business thrives on balance, positive energy and fulfilled promises. Every time. 

I have never thought of myself as a salesperson – I don’t respond well to most sales methods and that has never been the experience that I share with my buyers and sellers. I am an advocate, an educator, a collaborator (and sometimes therapist) with each and every client. The more informed my clients are, the better decisions they are able to make – educated decisions, not just emotional ones.
